Join us for an engaging on-stage interview with Shui-Min Tan, the CIO of the National University of Singapore (NUS), as she shares the story of their unique approach to enterprise-wide Generative AI implementation and workforce adoption. Shui-Min made a deliberate decision to move ahead of the curve with Generative AI, commencing prototypes from early 2023 and establishing a dedicated AI team from the outset. They also deviated from the norm with their technology deployment approach - rather than locking themselves into a single vendor AI tool, they developed their own enterprise AI platform that aggregates multiple vendor offerings and lets their workforce choose the one that best suits their needs from a simple drop-down menu.
In this session, Shui-Min will discuss why they decided to prioritize speed to market, why they chose to take a different approach and develop their own AI platform and how they have managed to empower their workforce by building AI self-service tools that allow staff to easily create their own AI applications such as customized chatbots.
