Henry joined GovTech in Jul 21 as the Deputy Chief Executive. He oversees the Govt CIOs’ Group and supports the digital transformation at government agencies through central products and services. Prior to joining GovTech, Henry has a 26 year career with the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA). He was rotated through several IT and engineering roles before his last appointment as Deputy Chief Executive (National Engineering). In that role, he set up a new engineering outfit within DSTA to provide engineering services for civilian government entities. Henry is an engineer by training with a Bachelor of Engineering in Information System Engineering from Imperial College London, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
