Ewan Andrew’s career with Diageo spans over 25 years and has included Executive roles in Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
Ewan has held the role of President, Global Supply Chain & Procurement since September 2019. In this role, he leads the global supply chain team who are the guardians of our iconic brands’ craftsmanship and quality. His team constantly strives for excellence, ensuring Diageo’s complex and modern supply chain operations work to the highest standards to deliver a broad range of premium drinks for consumers across our Beer, Scotch, Tequila, Vodka, Gin, Rum and Liqueurs portfolios.
Prior to his current role, he was Supply Chain Director, International Supply Centre, where he had responsibility for the global end to end supply chain and over 100 sites across UK, Europe, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala and Singapore geographies.
Ewan also held a number of senior Supply Chain & Procurement leadership roles around the world in Latin America & the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and North America. While in North America, he ran and transformed Diageo’s extensive operational factory network in the US and Canada.
Ewan is Chief Sustainability Officer. Diageo has ambitious targets and commitments through its Society 2030: Spirit of Progress plan which will help create a more inclusive and sustainable world. The strategic priorities of this 10-year ESG action plan are to promote positive drinking, champion inclusion and diversity and pioneer grain-to-glass sustainability with a focus on preserving water for life, accelerating to a low carbon world and becoming sustainable by design.
He joined Diageo in 1997, straight from his studies at the University of Edinburgh, where he gained an honors degree in Biological Sciences from the faculty of Science & Engineering.
In his spare time, Ewan enjoys time with his family, rugby, competitive endurance racing and the study of natural history.
