Jim Tobojka serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for TE Connectivity.
In his role, Jim is responsible for all aspects of the company’s Integrated Operations Network including procurement, logistics, manufacturing engineering and innovation, environmental, health and safety, facilities services, and the company-wide lean initiative. He also oversees TE’s commitment to environmental sustainability, focusing on waste, water usage, and GHG emission reduction.
Jim joined TE in 2020 to lead Global Operations for the former Communications Solutions segment at TE and subsequently took over the same position in the Transportation Solutions segment with the largest manufacturing footprint at TE. His responsibilities included enhancing manufacturing strategies to support growth initiatives, further develop global operations competitiveness, integrate a robust supply chain transformation, and focus on talent development within the segment.
Before joining TE, Jim worked in global leadership roles for Schneider Electric and the American Power Conversion Corporation (APCC).
Jim graduated from University of Rhode Island with Bachelor Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and School of Business and Management at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
