Marcelo Luiz Hummelgen is the Chief Data Analytics Officer (CDAO) at Celepar, where he leads the Celepar +Insights unit. With a career spanning more than 30 years at the company, he has built a solid technical foundation by working for two decades in the management of mission-critical systems focused on state revenue, taxation, and budgeting. His experience evolved into strategic governance with the structuring of the organization’s Project and Process Office.
In his role in Business Development, he contributed directly to the internationalization strategy and to the expansion cycle that resulted in a 48% increase in the company’s revenue within two years. Currently, Marcelo combines this deep technical and fiscal expertise with a strategic market vision to transform the data ecosystem into applied intelligence. Under his management, Celepar established a strategic partnership with Google to enhance the use of AI and Analytics, focusing on innovation and generating real impact for the efficiency of public administration.
