Proven and consistent focus on delivering independent, objective risk-based activities that are aligned with enterprise objectives, hiring and developing future business leaders, and acting as a change agent in promoting leading practices.
David is a certified public accountant and certified internal auditor. His progressive 30+ year career includes serving in a leadership role with a Big 4 firm leading IT audits in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and holding the role of Chief auditor at three different public companies spanning 15 years of his career. Currently, he leads a global audit function (60+ audit professionals across the US, UK, and Poland) as the Chief Auditor for Unum Group and is based in Chattanooga, TN.
