David Furlonger is a Distinguished VP and Gartner Fellow in the Global Enterprises - Executive Research Group. He leads the research and advice about CEO priorities, concerns and growth strategies, helping executive leaders understand the impacts of business, societal and technology disruptions. This includes insight into how CEOs view the use of AI, workforce change, geopolitics and customer interactions. He is also a core member of the Top Strategic Predictions team. Additional research insight covers topics including blockchain, digital money/stablecoins, Autonomous Businesses and the growth of the programmable economy, and AI strategy in real estate. Before joining Gartner, Mr. Furlonger held various roles in the banking industry, was a corporate treasurer at a chemicals and metals company, and launched and led a FinTech.
