Adam Palmer is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at First Hawaiian Bank, the largest bank in Hawaii. Adam has more than two decades of experience leading cybersecurity, risk, and resilience programs across global enterprises in the US, EMEA, and APAC. Adam began his career as a U.S Navy Officer and later spent 10 years working in Europe as a Field CISO for major vendors (also covering APAC) and as a senior cyber risk executive at a global bank. Adam also created and led the U.N. Global Program Against Cybercrime. Adam is known for bridging technical depth with executive fluency and helping Boards and CEOs move to outcome-focused cyber risk management. Adam regularly contributes to industry forums, journals, and CISO communities, and advises leaders on modern security leadership in complex environments.
