Are your managers just as confused about AI as their teams? Who in your IT org do you think needs more AI training and education, managers or their teams?

I also agree that everyone needs to be trained in AI. The level and type of focus would be different depending on their role. Manager's and leadership team would need training on how to identify and analyze AI use cases to come up with true measurable ROI and accuracy of results.

Software development teams will require more hands-on technical training in areas such as generative AI and machine learning model development, while business users will benefit more from training in AI-driven automation, low-code/no-code AI agent development, and prompt engineering..

Everyone needs to be trained to work with AI. AI can increase productivity so there is a little hesitation from teams to adopt AI as they fear that they may be replaced. I have educated team members and managers that it is not AI but AI assisted so you can have a better work/life balance and get more done in an efficient manner.
