Product(s): SnapLogic Platform

Overall Comment:"I've positioned myself as a SPOC and SME for SnapLogic across my organization, leading development, deployment, governance, error handling framework and adoption initiatives. I've worked on cutover plans, RCA for pipeline failures and license optimization efforts to stay within entitlement. My experience also includes cross-functional collaboration in a federated CoE model, with a focus on governance and standardization."

Description

What do you like most about the product or service?

Reusable pipeline templates and adoption of standardization are major goals, indicating that the platform supports such best practices. Flexibility to integrate across multiple systems like GCP, Salesforce, SAP, Vericent and multiple other internal applications was a key strength in our cutover planning. The ability to implement error handling frameworks and governance processes within SnapLogic showcases its customizability and control for enterprise needs. The platform supports manual deployments with governance, giving you oversight even without CI/CD.

What do you dislike most about the product or service?

Lack of proactive communication on updates from SnapLogic, leading to unexpected disruptions. Technical issues JCo connection failures and missing function modules after restart, requiring escalations. Fragility during deployment where account references can be lost. License constraints, forcing you to downsize non-prod instances and optimize usage, which added complexity. No CI/CD capability planned, making deployments manual and governance heavy.
