Gartner Peer Insights Badging Program Terms & Conditions

Congratulations on being selected to participate in Gartner Peer Insights’ Social Badging program! We are pleased to grant you the right to leverage and share your Gartner Peer Insights Badge on LinkedIn in accordance with these Terms; as well as the Gartner Peer Insights Rules of Engagement and Community Guidelines.
You may not alter any element of Gartner's badges (including typeface and font, proportion, orientation and color) or display it near any text other than as supplied by Gartner. The badge constitutes the intellectual property of Gartner, Inc. and/or its affiliates and is used herein with permission in accordance with these Terms. All rights reserved. You may, however, modify the text associated with your badge post on social media with text like the following, "View the badge I received from Gartner Peer Insights for my approved review."
Contributing an approved review on Gartner Peer Insights does not guarantee that you will earn the right to display a badge. We will apply objective criteria to your review to make the badge determination and will notify you within one (1) week of review approval. Only reviews submitted on or after Sept 1 2020 are eligible to earn a badge. Reviews submitted before Sept 1 2020 can be resubmitted via the "My Reviews" tab in your profile to become eligible for this program.
Gartner Peer Insights is the sole issuer and owner of the IP in the badges associated with the Gartner Peer Insights Social Badging program. As such, you may not issue yourself additional badges beyond what Gartner Peer Insights has issued you.
You acknowledge and agree that by sharing your badge on social media, your social media (e.g. LinkedIn) identity as a Gartner Peer Insights contributor will be publicly known. However, Gartner Peer Insights will not share your identity as the author of your specific reviews. As an example, if you earn and share your “1 Top Review in the Internet of Things Market,” badge on LinkedIn, your LinkedIn network will know only that you contributed a top review in the Internet of Things market on Gartner Peer Insights, but will not know which product you reviewed or the specific review that you wrote.
You further acknowledge and agree that the sharing and use of your badge on social media doesn’t guarantee you additional occupational opportunities or increased compensation. And that this badge does not constitute an endorsement by Gartner or its affiliates of your knowledge or expertise of any technology vendor's services.
By sharing your badge on a social media platform, you are also explicitly agreeing to and governed by the Terms and Conditions of the social media platform.
Gartner Peer Insights reserves the right in our sole discretion to revoke your badge if you are in violation of these Terms, the Gartner Peer Insights Rules of Engagement and/or the Community Guidelines
You may leverage and share your for a period of one (1) year from the date it was issued (the "License Term"). After that time, Gartner Peer Insights will no longer be able to verify your badge.
Gartner Peer Insights may at any time change the qualifications and participation rules of the Social Badging Program, so please check these Terms periodically.
