Dive into the topics, sessions, speakers and more that made Gartner Application Innovation & Business Solutions Summit a memorable experience.
Japanese application leaders tasked with creating a strategic application plan that aligns with business outcomes often don’t know where to start. This session highlights steps to address this issue, culminating in a concise and effective application strategy to communicate the plan.
Deciding between buying or building is not the primary concern. The real question is how to generate business value from the solution, whether built or purchased. Generative AI is transforming the way applications are assembled, shifting from static compositions of underlying components to dynamic, intelligent, on-demand composition.
Geopolitical risks can lead to reduced business continuity, enforcement of information protection regulations, price increases and currency fluctuations, which in turn affect software and cloud contract service levels, data protection clauses and pricing. This session will help to address these impacts for CIOs and other IT leaders.
Explore the tracks that were covered at 2025’s conference, informed by key enterprise application and software engineering challenges and emerging trends.
As foundations of AI, automation and platforms evolve, leaders are expected to do more for less, deliver execution excellence and speed up tech innovation. This track explores the leadership strategies needed to deliver business outcomes in this future world.
Enterprise application (EA) leaders must align their strategies to business outcomes, delivering innovations while also maintaining applications with stable governance. This track provides leaders with tactics for their CRM and ERP portfolio, governance and strategy, plus insight into the future of intelligent applications.
It’s time to build the right foundations to support today's evolving technical landscape. This track explores cutting-edge topics like generative AI, platform engineering and low-code application platforms, as well as leading practices to boost developer productivity and developer experience (DevEx), generating business value using the latest innovations and new thinking.

About the Gartner Conference Navigator app:
Gartner Conference Navigator is your hub for the conference. Here you can view and filter sessions, build your agenda, register for interactive experiences, schedule your meeting and more. We recommend using the app for an optimal conference experience. Search “Gartner Conference Navigator” in your app store to download. The app allows you to view and update your agenda, network with other end users, receive important notifications and more.
Is my attendance limited if I am not currently a Gartner client?
Absolutely not! As long as you have fully paid your registration fee, you have access to all conference activities, along with Gartner session documentation. If you’re interested in becoming a Gartner client, you can visit the Gartner Showcase to better understand the benefits you’ll receive.
Signing up for limited seating sessions:
You will need to sign up in advance for some sessions, such as workshops, Meetups and roundtables. If you try to register for a session and it is listed as “full” or “closed,” there is still a possibility you can attend. Once at the conference, find the room for that session and arrive there about 15 minutes prior to the session start to have your name added to the waiting list. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Suggested dress code:
We suggest comfortable shoes — you’ll be doing a lot of walking from your hotel room to the conference space, from session to session and navigating the show floor. Business casual dress is what most attendees opt for, but we also recommend that you dress in layers as the conference rooms can get chilly.
