AI engineer, entrepreneur, and science fiction writer. Graduated from Kaisei High School and the University of Tokyo, where he studied under Yutaka Matsuo, the chair of the Cabinet Office’s AI Strategy Council.
After working for Boston Consulting Group, he founded the AI chatbot company BEDORE Inc. (now PKSHA Communication) and then co-founded MNTSQ, Ltd., a legal technology company, both focused on transforming social systems through digital technology.
For his efforts he was awarded the title of Super Creator by the IT Promotion Agency and was made a member of the Digital Legal System Working Group under the Digital Agency. He is a member of Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of Japan.
He ran for Governor of Tokyo in the 2024 gubernatorial election on a platform focused on realizing digital democracy, was appointed an advisor to GovTech Tokyo, and is a proponent of AI interactive communication.
