Joined Sun Microsystems, Inc. in 1999. After engaging in development at the U.S. headquarters, founded Aplesso Inc. in 2000, where he developed the data integration middleware DataSpider, which won the Annual Best Software Award from SOFTIC. In 2013, Aplesso entered into a capital and business alliance with Saison Technology. Joined Credit Saison Co., Ltd. in 2019, serving as Director and CTO before assuming his current position in March 2023.

This session will introduce Credit Saison’s six-year journey in digital transformation (DX). In 2019, the company launched an in-house development team from scratch, beginning with internal development of select smartphone app functions. Today, the team has grown to around 200 members, and its development scope has expanded to include core systems. In 2021, the in-house development and IT departments were merged into a single division, enabling two distinct teams—with different cultures and characteristics—to collaborate effectively under a bimodal IT strategy. Since 2023, the company has also started training citizen developers, empowering general staff to automate their own tasks using no-code and low-code tools.
