Executive Story: From D to DX: Introducing Our Transformation Initiative

Since 2021, Asahi Group has been advancing reforms in three areas under the concept of DX = BX. Two of these areas are Process Innovation, which is defensive DX, and Business Innovation, which is offensive DX. These initiatives have been modestly led by approximately 30 members of Asahi Holdings' DX organization. To transform these efforts into BX as a true transformation for the entire group, the third area, Organization Innovation, has been actively pursued since 2024. This involves both individual skill enhancement and changes in team working styles.
The former aims to elevate the digital and data utilization skills of all employees, foster project leaders in every department, and enhance the skills of all department heads to independently formulate their department's DX strategy. The latter focuses on making new team working styles more agile and flattening the organizational structure.
Additionally, to achieve these goals, the IT platform CICD is being introduced in parallel. This presentation will introduce Asahi's initiatives focusing on Organization Innovation as activities to transform DX into true transformation. ... Show More Show Less
