Speaker Bio
Wam Voster is a Vice President in Gartner Research, focused on security and risk management. He advises clients on the security of Operational Technology (OT) sometime referred to as ICS security or Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) Security and issues related to security management, security organization and security governance.
Mr. Voster has extensive experience in both directing and advising security programs in complex environments. He is a seasoned IT professional with a background in the Oil and Gas industry and in the fast moving consumer goods sector.
Of his 37 years in the IT industry, the last 17 years were dedicated to security. He is based in the Netherlands, but for most of his career, he either managed or advised on large programs around the globe.
