Nicolas Bonvin is Chief Technology Officer at Pictet Alternative Advisors, where he defines technology strategy across cloud transformation, data products, digital workplace and AI. Since becoming CTO in 2022, he has led PAA’s move to a cloud-native operating model and is now leading its next phase of AI transformation across the organization. His work is centered on scalable platforms, strong data foundations, business adoption, and a disciplined approach to when to standardize, when to buy and when to build. Nicolas joined Pictet in 2002 as a software developer and went on to hold architectural, digital and innovation leadership roles across the Group, including across Pictet Wealth Management and Pictet Asset Management. Before joining Pictet, he started his career as an entrepreneur and studied Economics at HEC Lausanne.
