James McFadden is the Executive Director of Supply Chain Quality and Engineering for Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions group. In this role, James is responsible for end to end engineering & quality in the supply chain from components through to integrated AI racks. This team includes NPI, supplier quality, PCBA quality & engineering, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, industrial & automation engineering, manufacturing and customer quality.
James has over 25 years experience within global supply chain roles having begun his career with IBM. He has worked for contract manufacturers Sanmina-SCI & Foxconn before rejoining IBM to become part of the ISG transition to Lenovo. He has end to end experience in multiple engineering disciplines and also lead a global operations team managing production in the factories.
James holds a Masters of Engineering in Manufacturing Sciences & Engineering with a Diploma in Management for Engineers from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland.
