Michelle Dilley is a seasoned executive with a distinguished career in supply chain management and organizational leadership. As the inaugural CEO of AWESOME since mid-2020, Michelle spearheads the organization's mission with unparalleled vision and expertise. With over 25 years of experience, Michelle has been a driving force behind numerous transformation initiatives, consistently delivering innovation and efficiency across industries. Her dynamic leadership and strategic vision have positioned organizations for sustained success in rapidly evolving markets. Before assuming her role at AWESOME, Michelle served as the Chief Operating Officer of DSC Logistics, now CJ Logistics America. Joining DSC Logistics in 2017 as the Chief Supply Chain Transformation Officer, she played a pivotal role in shaping the company's future operating platform and driving strategic initiatives for continuous improvement. Michelle's remarkable leadership led to her promotion to COO in 2019, where she continued to drive transformational change while overseeing DSC's extensive network of supply chain operations across North America. During her tenure as COO, Michelle expertly, and empathetically, led her team through the global pandemic. She was responsible for 60+ logistics centers throughout North America with thousands of associates in both corporate and front-line settings. Michelle implemented industry-leading COVID-19 protocols across the entire enterprise for the organization, balancing safety and profitability at every turn. Prior to her tenure at DSC Logistics, Michelle held various key positions across multiple business sectors, including roles at renowned companies such as Whirlpool Corporation, LaSalle Bristol, and Ascension Health. Her expertise spans strategic sourcing, operations, inventory management, logistics, transportation, and technology integration. Michelle is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned a bachelor's degree in German studies and international business. She further enriched her education through studies at Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany. Today, Michelle enjoys spending time with her children, friends, and family, traveling as often as she can, and getting centered by reading and being in nature.
