Susan is the Director of Risk & Compliance for Microsoft’s Cloud Supply Chain Hardware team, ensuring supplier adherence to company policies and regulations. A Global role, her responsibilities include supplier & stakeholder management, risk analysis, maintaining supply chain security and balancing regulatory requirements with the business imperative.

Based in the Netherlands, Susan joined Microsoft after developing a global Corporate Ethics & Compliance Program at Cisco. She has also held roles at GE Lighting as European Product General Manager, achieving cost savings and winning manufacturing awards.

With a career start in the Oil & Gas sector with Schlumberger and Sedco, Susan focused on joint venture negotiations. She holds a legal degree in International Law, is SCCE certified, serves as an adjunct professor at Sorbonne University, and frequently speaks at compliance conferences on Anti-Bribery & Corruption and ESG.
