As executive vice president, Global Technology Platforms, Sravana oversees the building and deployment of scalable capabilities and systems that are global in nature. As the chair of Walmart’s Accessibility Council, he is an advocate for inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that associates have the opportunity to thrive. As the senior vice president and chief technology officer for Walmart International, Sravana previously led the development of tech capabilities for our international markets that helped unlock speed and delivered on the strategy of building strong local businesses. He has over 25 years of leadership experience developing highly scalable distributed systems at companies including Expedia, Disney, Amazon, Oracle, and Sterling Check. Sravana holds a doctorate in AI Applications in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University, a Master of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from Anna University, Madras.
