Dan Schmitz has oversight for teams that are responsible for procure to pay, trip accounting, and integrated technology and data solutions. His teams support $6.9 billion in products and services spend for Mayo Clinic. Since 2020, Mr. Schmitz has spearheaded an initiative to develop talent development and staff engagement programs in support of over 200 remote staff. During this time, he also led the Supply Chain team through the implementation of a new cloud-based ERP. Prior to his current position, Mr. Schmitz served as Director of Procure to Pay, and Manager of Managed Care Analytics. Mr. Schmitz earned his Bachelor in Business Administration in 1983 from the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse, Wisconsin and received his Masters in Healthcare Administration in 2002 from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
