With two decades of experience in operations and supply chain management, Eduardo has gained extensive experience across the US, Latin America, and sub-Saharan Africa. He currently serves as an Executive Director in AstraZeneca’s Global Supply Chain team, where he leads the Intelligent Supply Chain team. During his 17 years at AstraZeneca, he managed supply chains in the US and Latin America and played a key role in developing the Global Supply Strategy for the Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic Therapies franchise. Eduardo also contributed to AstraZeneca’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic by leading the supply chain for the Americas’ vaccine program. Before joining AstraZeneca, he worked at McKinsey & Company in their operations practice. Eduardo is a Mechanical Engineer by training and holds advanced degrees in Supply Chain and Business Administration. Born and raised in Mexico City, Eduardo now resides in Delaware with his family.
