I'd go for one tht educates my staff on what they should and shouldn't be doing in their roles.

If I could only pick one, I would probably go for the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) type of solution as it covers the most surface.

Ooof. One is hard. It gets easier when we think about products that provide security capabilities or assurance but they’re heavy experience products - like IDAM or SAST/DAST code checkers. Maybe the way to consider these is what budget do they come out of?

Squarely in security, I’d probably talk about a solid SIEM tool that supports security operations with SOAR capabilities. If I had to name one, Sumo Logic and the integrations and purchases they are making are interesting.
