1. High Licensing and Cost - One of the pain points is the cost of the product which makes it tough for management to approve and convince, hence the product features are useful but comes with a burning pocket. And hence if someone who is not fully (large scale data sets) using this tool may feel not wanting for this tool. 2.Limited Cloud Native and steep learning Curve - Ab initio can connect to various tools but still its not inherently cloud native hence integration with open source like spark or Airflow often requires expertise and at the same time tool requires learning and since not much is available in the open source, hence finding the solution can be difficult and feels like a lone warrior.

Licensing and scaling can be expensive especially for smaller teams or for the ones where you are doing exploratory projects
