One of the issues is the management of the No-SQL DB, it provides a simple UI but for more complex queries it is just not possible to do through it. The other issue is the increased cost for the number of calls of a specific service, it can be cheaper. Last but not least, some of the menus in the UI of the console are a bit cluttered, but that has been worked in the last years so I believe they are on the good path for making it better.
Read Full Review- The querying capability was limited at best and a lot of logic was required on the client side to construct the data relationships that were needed. - We needed a pretty robust DevOps crew to manage the administration and scaling that is involved with Firebase. This added quite a bit of cost overhead to running this in our org.
