Performance of OrbusInfinity Across Market Features
OrbusInfinity Likes & Dislikes
OrbusInfinity generally offers a great range of functionality needed for Enterprise Architecture. The tool has a modern, intuitive UI which enables users to quickly get going with adoption, and their roadmap only continues to develop this further. The native integration with Microsoft provides a familiar look and feel and allows for the utilisation of existing systems. The out-of-the-box solutions are a great way to get started with using the tool and provide a good source of potential use cases to consider. One of the highlights is Orbus' customer service - they are always keen to support us in achieving our EA goals, and will dedicate time and resources to make sure that any issues are resolved. Their roadmap truly focuses on customer needs, which is evident by the continuous engagement, gathering of feedback and user group events.
Read Full ReviewIt has remained fairly stable with little change at its core from the fully on-premise version.
Read Full ReviewIt is easy to model using the familiar Visio tool alongside iServer. Models are easy to define and understand. Being able to configure your own metamodel makes the tool very useful.
Read Full ReviewAs with any tool, there are some areas for development and some small design choices which are a bit clunky, for example, how multiple metamodels get integrated, lack of data in edit screens etc., as well as how cache can affect the tool. All fairly minor things though, which I expect will be resolved as the platform gets developed further.
Read Full ReviewModern users expect to perform all tasks through Web UIs on multiple platforms, so the bare-bones diagramming possibilities through a custom and expensive Draw addon are very disappointing. APIs are difficult to work with for developers used to well abstracted and fully documented interfaces with examples.
Read Full ReviewPresentation needs work. The objects are blocky and unattractive. It is challenging to get good engagement from business through the portal due to usability although this is improving with every release.

Cloud migration a disappointment
We chose to stay in '22 Orbus due to our belief in its cloud journey, with the promise of more flexible integration capabilities and compatibility with other Lucid Chart (then) on the horizon. Three years on, few of our expectations have come to fruition and the use of the platform has tanked. The integration possibilities through the APIs have remained opaque, with an implicit expectation that customers engage and pay for the services of the vendor in order to make use of them. This is in contradiction to the more open cloud platforms we are used to in other aspects of our business. - Enterprise ArchitectGov't/PS/EdGovernmentReview Source
A true market leader in Enterprise Architecture software
My experience with Orbus has always been very positive. From the initial stages of engagement, they have been very motivated and keen to work with us as a customer, and that enthusiasm hasn't decreased over the years. - IT Associate50M-1B USDEnergy and UtilitiesReview Source
Infinity SaaS is meeting our needs for architecture modelling and business process modelling
We have recently migrated from iServer on premise to Infinity SaaS. The migration was smooth and simple and the option of having the diagrams in our SharePoint Online widens access beyond our traditional user community. We have both architecture and business process in a shared repository. We're taking the opportunity to simplify our metamodel and returning to more of an out of the box configuration. - Director of IT50M-1B USDBankingReview Source
A highly recommended partner, a powerful, flexible but mature enterprise architecture platform.
Orbus Infinity has been an exceptional choice for our Enterprise Architecture practice. The platform's flexible architectural framework allows us to tailor models, meta-models, and governance workflows to our organization's evolving needs without unnecessary complexity. Vendor onboarding was remarkably smooth, with clear guidance, responsive support, and a well-structured enablement approach to accelerate, optimize time to value. Throughout the entire engagement, the Orbus team demonstrated true professionalism, knowledgeable, attentive, consistent focus on helping us achieve meaningful outcomes. Overall, Orbus Infinity has proven to be a strong, adaptable partner in maturing our enterprise architecture capabilities. - IT Manager1B-10B USDEnergy and UtilitiesReview Source
Support Team Facilitates Adoption While Visualization Tools Evolve Within the Platform
Our account representative has been helpful in getting us any support that we need and keeping us updated on new features. We are a new EA practice for the organization and we needed a vendor with great support and an easy to use interface that we could delve into.
