Norihiko Nakabayashi is an Executive Officer of Lion Corporation, having assumed the role in April 2024. He is responsible for the company’s enterprise-wide digital strategy, leading the planning and execution of group-wide initiatives in IT, digital, and data. Prior to joining Lion, he built his career as a data scientist at IBM Japan and subsequently served in senior leadership roles, including Deputy Head of the Data Science Lab at OPT Holding, Chief Data Scientist at SOMPO Holdings, and Executive Officer at Yamato Holdings.

Lion Corporation has deployed an open-source AI development platform companywide, training approximately 100 AI agent developers. By positioning this training process as a practice of business process reengineering (BPR), Lion has driven business transformation led by individual business units.
