Annette Jump is a Vice President and Team Leader within Gartner's TSP Emerging Technologies and Trends team, a centre of excellence for identifying and analysing cutting-edge technologies and strategic trends. ETT Research include Impact Radars, Emerging Tech Hype Cycles, Futures Lab, Tapestry, Top 10 Strategic Trends, Predicts, Maverick, and Executive Bets to help strategy and innovation leaders determine if, when, and how to invest in and monetize key future opportunities across emerging technologies and overall strategy.

Her team's mission is to empower C-level unique and strategic advice focusing on AI-related emerging technologies and trends, such as agentic AI, generative AI, computer vision, AI services, intelligent applications and simulations.

Previous experience

Prior to joining Gartner, Mrs. Jump worked as a Product Manager for a number of international FMCG companies. Her main responsibilities involved coordinating market research, developing brand strategy and maintaining multiple liaisons with different external agencies.
