Harry Collinge is a Principal Analyst within Gartner for Technical Professionals. His research focuses on helping clients achieve cloud proficiency by preparing optimal strategies, enhancing skills, and improving operating models and processes. He also aims to help organizations improve the efficiency of their cloud deployments through guidance on FinOps and IT sustainability. Finally, Harry covers cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes deployments, where he helps clients prepare for and adopt modern application hosting strategies to harness the benefits of cloud computing.
Prior to joining Gartner, Harry Collinge worked as a technology consultant at IBM helping to run Proof of Concepts for clients developing or migrating applications to containers hosted on Red Hat's OpenShift technology.
In his prior role he worked closely with clients across a number of industries to help them achieve their strategic goals. His daily tasks included working closely with DevOps engineers and product teams hosting scrum meetings, monitoring resourcing, budgeting and project progress.
