Irma Fabular is a Vice President and Team Manager for the U.S. Federal, State and Local Governments and Technology Markets team within the CIO and Industries Research Practice. Ms. Fabular has over 20 years of experience working at Gartner. This includes client engagement, team management and business leadership in consulting, research and advisory services for government, education, health, and technology and service provider (TSP) clients.
Ms. Fabular currently leads a team of research analysts focused on the U.S. federal, state and local governments and technology markets. She previously led a team of research analysts covering global governments and national defense. Ms. Fabular's research focuses on U.S. federal, state and local government CIOs and technology executives as well as public sector technology and service provider (TSP) product leaders and general managers.
Ms. Fabular oversees the U.S. Federal Government Technology Insights research agenda that addresses three topics for CIOs- 1) Enhance Agency IT Agility and Resilience, 2) Strengthen IT Operating Model and 3) Provide Strategic Digital Leadership. She also oversees the research agenda for Create Technology Solutions for Government which is focused on go-to-market and product planning topics for product leaders. This
research agenda enables product leaders and other technology business leaders effectively plan, innovate, and position solutions for U.S. governments, national defense, public safety and law enforcement and other public sector market segments.
Prior to Gartner, Ms. Fabular held IT leadership and operational management positions supporting law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services, healthcare, software product development, medical device manufacturing, and oceanographic research. In those positions, she designed, developed, implemented, and managed IT solutions for 911 emergency communications and dispatching, enterprise resource planning, human resources and payroll, financial management, and patient care management.
