Josema is a Director with the Legal Operations team. He helps the transformation of legal departments into high-impact business enablers by guiding the evolution of their operational model.
Prior to Gartner, Josema led over 50 innovation projects for legal departments across Europe and Latin America, supporting legal teams on initiatives including contract process optimization, CLM implementation, outside counsel management, data-driven decision frameworks, team development, change management, and digital transformation.
Before moving into legal operations, he worked for a decade as a lawyer in international arbitration and dispute resolution, including positions at Covington & Burling, the American Bar Association, and Bullard Falla Ezcurra.
