Neha Kumar is a Senior Director, Advisory in the CIO research group at Gartner, with an expertise in translating research insights into actionable advice. She helps Technology Executives (CIOs, CDOs, CTOs and others) make informed decisions on digital transformation to achieve successful business outcomes.

The key areas where Ms Kumar can be your go-to-expert are IT operating model, democratized digital delivery, fusion teams, talent management, and designing the technology strategy. She also works with clients to help them present their strategy to the board and select metrics to demonstrate the business value of IT.

Before moving to CIO research, Ms Kumar has advised CISOs on presenting cybersecurity to the board, as well as Heads of Infrastructure on their cloud and DevOps strategies.

Before joining advisory, Ms. Kumar worked with Gartner's Research team as a Senior Research Analyst for 3 years, covering a range of topics including DCIM (data center infrastructure management), IT orchestration and automation, and mobile app development platforms.
