Sarah Almond is a Director Analyst within the ITL Application and Data Security research team. Her coverage area is cryptography, with a focus on key management, hardware security modules, public key infrastructure/digital certificate management and post quantum readiness.
Before joining Gartner, Sarah spent 20 years in financial services where she operated, evaluated and defined cryptographic services, solutions and architectures. She also has experience of writing cryptographic standards/policies and understands the challenges of implementing cryptography in highly regulated environments.
