Veena Variyam leads the global Quantitative Analytics & Data Innovation(QADI) team in Supply Chain R&A. The QADI team enables our practice's objective to innovate with interactive content and data to enhance client experience. The global team of quantitative researchers and product managers deliver quantitative insights, build new data assets, design and manage assessment services (benchmarks & diagnostics), and build interactive content for supply chain clients.
Previously, Ms. Variyam was an advisor and a research leader in GTS. She advised Program & Portfolio Management (PPM) and infrastructure leaders on digital IT operating models, product line management, cloud strategy, agile and DevOps adoption, PMO and infrastructure functional strategies, and talent management. As a research leader, Ms. Variyam led ground-breaking research on transforming PMO for digital, enterprise-scale agile, portfolio management, project management talent, and automation.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Variyam served as the head of end-user computing, enterprise networks and branch infrastructure for a leading private sector bank in India, where she led enterprise-wide infrastructure transformation, cost optimization and strategic sourcing initiatives. She holds multiple IT certifications, including product management and enterprise Agile. Ms. Variyam holds an MBA in IT Management and a Bachelors in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
