As part of the logistics research team in Gartner's Supply Chain Practice, Amadea Smith works with practitioners and their teams to gain a deep understanding of their most critical challenges and offer practical tools and best practices they can use to solve them. Empowering leaders with the essential insights and novel perspectives needed to tackle ongoing changes and challenges in supply chain is Amadea's number one priority. For Amadea, empathizing with the client is imperative to producing the most relevant and meaningful research for clients. Relevant topics include last mile delivery, the future of logistics, logistics strategy creation, outsourcing and customer collaboration in logistics.
Prior to joining Gartner, Amadea worked in biomedical engineering pedagogical research, conducting in-depth qualitative data analysis and ethnographic research on the Design Teams Program at a top-ranked engineering undergraduate research university.
