Andrea Lanzavecchia is a Sr. Director in Gartner Research, where he is part of the Infrastructure and Communication Services which is part of the wider group Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management.
He currently conducts research associated with IT infrastructure and communications' sourcing in all phases of the sourcing life cycle; Planning, Identifying, Contracting and Closing. He provides guidance for clients on category and sourcing strategies, vendor evaluation and selection, contract deal pricing, contract structure and negotiations. In this capacity, he ensures integrated, high-quality analyses across all outsource services, along with the continued development of new research to meet the needs of Gartner clients.

Prior to joining Gartner, was employed by Energy giant company ENI GROUP, networking technology company CISCO SYSTEMS, digital automation company SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC and engineering services for industrial markets EMERSON ELECTRIC. He held a variety of regional and global positions within Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations and Strategic Sourcing.
