Ms. Apeksha previously worked within the CIO Research group at Gartner, as a member of the Government and Education team. She is focused on supporting government sector CIOs and public sector technology and service providers (TSPs) product leaders globally. She provides research and advice to Government CIOs on initiatives covering IT modernization, innovation, and digital transformation. These initiatives include the transition to digital government, Government initiatives to raise their digital maturity, Business and technology trends, priorities for Governments. She also covers government applications such as for online voting, legislative management, grants management, Government meeting management. and focusses on citizen engagement, voice of citizen, and likes. For public sector TSPs product leaders, the key initiatives include industry product planning and strategy as well as industry technology market essentials. These encompass enterprise IT spending forecasts and demand, growth opportunities and risks, emerging business and technology trends. The TSP public sector key initiatives enable product leaders and other technology business leaders effectively plan, develop, innovate, deploy, and position solutions for the government and education markets. Ms. Apeksha joined the Government CIO group after serving the Technology Service Provider's Quantitative Innovation Team. She played an instrumental role in the publication of IoT Forecast working on the use cases for Digital Government Services and City operations Sector/Vertical working on use cases for smart city initiatives such as asset tracking, waste management, toll and traffic management.

She was a key contributor to publication of the Market Share document for key market players each year with axial contribution and leading the Vendor revenue Profiles project for almost 25 top IT vendors as the Vendor lead analyst.
