VP Analyst

Chet Geschickter is VP Analyst in the Operating Model team within the Global & Large Accounts CIO and Executive group. He helps CIOs and Executives evolve enterprise and IT operating models to deliver on the most important strategic priorities and initiatives of their organization. Chet helps clients diagnose and fix inconsistencies in operating models that create unnecessary friction and undermine business results. He also applies his expertise in performance metrics to help CIOs track, measure and communicate the IT operating model transformation progress. In addition, Chet covers the ESG reporting and management and carbon accounting software markets and helps organizations meet regulatory requirements by advising on software selection and sustainability data and analytics strategy and implementation.

Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Geschickter was a Smart Grid Industry Analyst for Greentech Media. He also has a decade of experience in digital strategy and seven years of experience in the energy industry, including 5 years in the Gartner Energy and Utilities team. He also served as Gartner Chief of CIO and Industries Research for 5 years as well.
