Don Ribar is a Senior Director within Gartner's Tech CEO team within the High Tech & Invest (HTI) research group. He has 40+ years' experience in consulting and services companies, both large and small, including as a founder. He works with CEO's and other senior executives in providing advisory guidance and research that helps them grow and improve their business performance. Mr. Ribar has a particular focus in the area of IT managed services and Managed Services Providers (MSPs) where he brings 14 years direct experience in building and implementing recurring revenue models that met company goals and served end-customer needs.
Mr. Ribar works with MSPs and other Tech CEO clients on business strategy, focusing their messaging, positioning and value proposition, as well to help shape and model the pricing and packaging of their service offerings, partner ecosystems, and route-to-market approach.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Ribar worked in several growing IT Managed Services companies including an MSP he founded. He had experience working in all aspects of these businesses including Corporate Strategy, Packaging and Pricing, Partnerships & Ecosystems, Operations, and implementing supporting technology.
