Duncan Robson is a Senior Director Analyst at Gartner specialising in Enterprise Architecture (EA) . He has over 25 years experience working in EA including CTO and Chief Architect roles, and specialises in providing practical advice to clients on creating, running and improving their EA practices.
In his previous director level role at a FTSE 100 company, Duncan established and managed a 50-person Architecture team across all areas of the business and chaired the Data and AI community, helping drive the company to record profits.
Prior to this Duncan was at IBM for 29 years, including roles such as the IBM Chief Technology officer for the UK Retail Industry.
A seasoned public speaker and hackathon leader, Duncan has presented at major conferences in the UK, Europe and US, and led teams in designing solutions to address challenges in sustainability, the circular economy, healthcare, and the use of AI.
