Erik Wahlstrom is VP Analyst and Key Initiative Leader of the Identity and Access Management team within Gartner for Technical Professionals. Mr. Wahlstrom's primary focus areas are access management, machine identity management, API access control, modern identity protocols, authentication and authorization and public-key infrastructure (PKI). Mr. Wahlstrom also covers IAM architecture and author research on definition of the identity fabric.
Before joining Gartner, Mr. Wahlstrom's job responsibilities included product strategy, product management, enterprise architecture and software development. He has deep technical knowledge about standards and wrote several RFC's and have a long software development experiences within identity and access management.
