Frank Ridder is a Practice Vice President in Gartner Research and Advisory, leading the Advanced Manufacturing & Transportation practice in Gartner Industries. He is responsible for Automotive, Transport, Industrial, and Consumer Goods Manufacturing teams made of experts and talents from around the globe. His teams research trends and changes in their Industries with a focus on IT and Digital Technologies, Services, and Concepts, and they support Gartner's clients to succeed with their transformation and modernization efforts and projects.
Prior to his work in the IT industry, Mr. Ridder spent five years in the telecommunications industry. In addition to his work at Gartner, he has lectured on IT services at the University of Applied Science in Neu-Ulm, Germany, since 2009, the University of Monchengladbach, since 2015 and at the Donau-Krems University.
Before joining Gartner, he led HP's outsourcing marketing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was responsible for all outbound marketing programs, analyst and press relations, sales development programs, and funnel development programs. Prior to that, he held various positions in national and international outsourcing sales, engagement, and client management.
