Guido De Simoni is Vice President in the area of Data and Analytics. He primarily covers data and analytics strategies, metadata management, and data and analytics governance (with specific focus on technology and platforms). Also he covers the intersection of data and analytics programs and information architecture.
Before his current position, Mr. De Simoni worked as a Leadership Partner in Gartner's Enterprise IT Leaders organization, supporting and coaching Gartner's clients in the deployment of enterprise architecture programs in EMEA.
Mr. De Simoni has 35 years of IT experience. He joined Gartner in July 2006. Before that, he was change and program manager for the Professional Services Group at Reuters, with the global responsibility for the business unit "knowledge value chain" implementation. Prior to Reuters, Mr. De Simoni held a number of IT and consulting management positions with TIBCO and IBM, always helping customers worldwide, mainly within the financial industry, with the deployment of information technology for the benefit of the customer business proposition.
Mr. De Simoni has authored numerous books on transaction processing and enterprise application integration.
