Jeff Cribbs is a Distinguished VP Analyst on the Gartner Healthcare Team. He leads the global agenda for Healthcare Data, Analytics and AI research. He currently has a special research focus on the impact of generative AI in healthcare and across industries. Ongoing research areas include aligning healthcare business and technology strategy to stakeholder outcomes, scenario planning, and healthcare data science. He works with technology leaders at payer, provider, and life science companies globally. Over his 12 years as a Gartner analyst, he has led research efforts in COVID-recovery scenario planning, healthcare consumer engagement, population health management and care management, community resource network management to address social determinants of health, composable technology architecture, and novel approaches to funding global healthcare as a part of Gartner's Maverick innovation incubator program.
Mr. Cribbs has served in a variety of roles in health IT, including programming, business and technical analysis, team management, application design, product management, and analytics strategy.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Cribbs was a program manager at ActiveHealth Management (a fully owned subsidiary of Aetna), where he was responsible for management of the ActiveAnalytics product and deploying the analytic strategy for new provider business.
