Jennifer Jackson is a Senior Director, Analyst for the Strategic Portfolio Management team. Ms. Jackson provides Business and Technology Insights to CIOs, Program and Portfolio Management (PPM) leaders, and other IT leaders and technology professionals. Ms. Jackson helps clients enable all stages of the strategic portfolio management life cycle, including topics such as intake, prioritization, resource capacity planning, benefits management and value realization. Ms. Jackson also supports leaders with strategies that enable best-in-class PMOs, such as stakeholder engagement, talent management, and functionality maturity. Previous Gartner experience includes roles in Strategy & Operations and IT Program and Product Management.

Previous experience

Prior to coming to Gartner, Jennifer Jackson was a Transformation Leader at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA.) During this time, Ms. Jackson was focused on large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives and building a Project Management Office (PMO) from the ground up. In this role, Ms. Jackson had the opportunity to lead the organization to adopt a disciplined and strategic approach to corporate measurement, reporting, and success criteria. From 2006 to 2015, Ms. Jackson held various positions in secondary education and local government.
