Jeroen Cornelissen is a Research Analyst in Gartner's Data and Analytics group with a primary focus on Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. Mr. Cornelissen advises Data & Analytics and AI leaders on defining and optimizing their strategies through the latest best practices and technologies. Jeroen supports leaders with building Analytics and AI Portfolios, organizational design, operating model development, the Analytics capability design, generative and agentic AI, Decision Intelligence, AI-ready data, AI governance, and Literacy. Mr. Cornelissen joined Gartner in April 2019 and became part of Business and Technologies in July 2025.
Prior to joining Gartner Business and Technology Insights, Mr. Cornelissen was a director with Gartner Consulting and led the Data, Analytics, and AI practice in continental Europe. Mr. Cornelissen worked 18 years in Strategy Consulting, focusing on Data, Analytics, and AI. He accumulated expertise across all major vertical industries through engagements spanning the entire management life cycle, from vision, strategy, organization, operating model, change management, and enterprise architecture to managing Data, Analytics, and AI programs, and setting up and managing the operational organization.
