Throughout his career, Joel has partnered with C-Level executives to advise them on their enterprise risk management programs and strategic risk management priorities. Previously, Joel was head of strategy for the enterprise risk management division of a publicly listed risk technology firm. Earlier in his career he held senior advisory roles supporting executives to manage geopolitical, economic and industry related risks. His client experience includes executive engagements across North America, APAC, EMEA and LATAM, and he was previously based in Singapore.

Joel has a deep understanding of how to work with senior business leaders to help identify and support their mission critical priorities when it comes to enterprise risk management. He has authored two books on risk-related topics, "China Goes West" (Geopolitical Risk) and "Digital Influence," (Reputational Risk) which has led to speaking engagements and executive briefings worldwide. Joel is a Fulbright Scholar and is fluent in Mandarin.
