Jon Erensen is a Sr. Director with the Gartner Technology and Service Provider research group, where he provides strategic advice and insight to product managers and tech CEOs on semiconductor technology with a focus on application and multimedia processing, RF and wireless technologies. Mr. Erensen is responsible for market research and analysis of both semiconductor and end-equipment trends for smartphones and video game hardware. He also leads research on ASIC solutions, including the OEM foundry-direct model where OEMs design semiconductors internally and work directly with foundries for manufacturing.
In his previous position at Gartner, Mr. Erensen worked in the Client Services organization and supported the Gartner semiconductor group, where he directed and advised on complex inquiries and research requests.
