Kayla Velnoskey is a Research Director with Gartner's Human Resource group. She supports research in total rewards, leadership, change and talent and performance management to help HR leaders address their mission critical priorities. Her current work centers on strategic approaches to help leaders lead through ungovernable change. She also focuses on the topics of rewards and recognition and well-being offerings. Kayla leverages her experience in neuroscience and cognitive psychology research to understand HR challenges from a psychological perspective.
Kayla has previously worked in advertising technology, market research, and academic psychology research fields, utilizing survey-based methodologies and multifaceted data sources such as facial coding, eye-tracking, and neuroimaging. Throughout her previous experiences she has explored the cognitive bases of social behavior and decision making.
